Sugar is fed from the upper hopper into the grinding unit in a controlled manner. Thanks to the direct-drive grinding system, crystallized sugar is rapidly reduced to the desired fineness. The ground product is collected in the lower storage tank, ready for the next stage of production.
The machine is designed to produce powdered sugar in the range of approximately 28–30 microns under suitable operating conditions. Product fineness may vary depending on the characteristics of the sugar used and the operating conditions. The resulting powdered sugar can be used directly in chocolate production, Turkish delight production, and other confectionery processes.
The upper feed hopper and the powdered sugar storage tank are manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel. The lower storage tank has a capacity of approximately 80 kg of powdered sugar. The hygienic construction allows for easy cleaning.
The grinding system operates with a direct-coupled 3 kW – 2800 RPM motor. The machine utilizes an ELK Motor brand motor. Start/Stop controls provide ease of operation, while an Emergency Stop button is included as standard for safety purposes.
Thanks to its compact body structure and lockable caster system, the machine can be easily moved within the production area and securely locked in place during operation. It is designed to be used in conjunction with chocolate preparation systems, Turkish delight production lines, and other confectionery production equipment.
